We are in the middle of implementation and I am writing a workflow for issuing Purchase Orders to Outside Process vendors for metal finishing (Ie: Powdercoating, Plating, etc), however I am not certain that I am totally clear on the correct process. We have setup non-stock items to represent the outside processes. These have been defined as a service, They have vendor(s) associated with them on the vendors tab and the default price as been set to $1.00. On the manufactured (stock) item I have defined a BOM and on the operation step for the outside service I have added the Non-Stock item (Powdercoat) to the BOM as a material. The qty required has been set to the per-piece cost that I was quoted, the Unit cost remains at $1.00, The material type has been set to “Sub Contract” and the Subcontract Source has been set to “Purchase”. On the Outside processes tab I have also checked the “Outside Process” box and have selected the preferred vendor for this operation. I have then opened
Does anybody have an import scenario for the product configurator?
I have a couple of questions regarding sales persons that are linked to employees which are linked to a user and how to use this set up conveniently in Acumatica. Basically I want the ability for the logged in user to only have access to the orders and customers which they are the default sales person for. This could be in reports, dashboards, GI screens, etc. @ME does not work as a value in the default sales person field. How can I set up a filter on the sales order screen to view all sales orders with my logged in user as the sales person. I want this filter to automatically default to show the logged in users customers and sales orders without having to set the filter explicitly to that sales person. I’d like the system to detect the salesperson based on the logged in user and reflect this in filters for sales orders. I’ve tried setting Default Sales Person = @ME but that doesn’t work.My Goal is to provide a filter to my sales persons so they can see all of the orders where they are
Hello, can someone point me the right direction to create a leg of another bom within a bom?Thank youZoey
Hello Experts, I am unbale to figure out how to view the total number of production order with ageing category. I Tried creating GI but still facing problem how to group .Please let me know where am i missing .So my output result should look like:-
I need to advise the sales team regarding the availability of materials in the multilevel BOMs (Capable to Promise (CTP) multi-level BoM), which may include both Manufacturing and purchasing items at various levels. Any ideas on how to create a GI or even generate a report showing the INSiteStatus.QtyAvail using AMMultiLevelBomData?
This is my mappingThis is the errorHere is the GICan anyone look at this and tell me what these ultimately means? Feels like I am close to something but need help. Do I need to map more for validation?
Would anyone know if there is a posibility to update the start/end dates on an operation itself? i know you can update the actual work order but i would like to have seperate dates for each operation so each team have there own start date. Thanks!
there is available inventory but i am still getting this message. There is enough availability on hand. i am only allocating 2 pcs and the system shows 5 available between my two shipping locations. i’ve checked Inventory Allocation Details but i'm not sure how to read it. but i did check all the sales orders with this part number and i don't have any allocated as show in Inventory summary above. Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be great.
How i view Deleted Records of BILL of MaterialDear Fellowsif i deleted bill of material BOM000017 how i view this record in aCumaticaERPin GI i click show deleted records but i can t get any feild ya table for deleted record of bom
After releasing a pile of production tickets the sales order due date has been pushed out over a month and now I want to update all those tickets (reschedule them). Is this possible?
Acumatica allows expired materials to be used in production despite the fact that an expiration date is set. No warning to user or hard stop.Does anyone have a workaround for this other than a custom inquiry that allows to find expired material and remove it from the shelves? We are in a regulated industry (medical device) and current feedback from Quality is that the workaround is not sufficient and an active warning, if not a stop, from the system is the minimum that has to be implemented.
We are unable to close a production order. It might have been forcefully completed or a move transaction deleted. Need guidance to resolve this and close the production order. Inventory module cannot be closed due to this error.Missing Move Transaction: When I click one of the move transaction numbers, it doesn’t react. It seems like it was forcefully deleted. Production order status: Completed. How can I resolve this to close the books?
We include within the BOM an Outside service process where the cost is billed on PO as not stock item. Is there a way to included the cost from non-stock items with the BOM and Production Order.
As shown in the screenshot below, we understand that when a Move transaction is performed, the system should create both: The Move Transaction, and The corresponding Cost Transaction. This is not the actual screenshot; it was taken from the local system. In our case, we can only see the yellow-highlighted Move transaction line. The Cost Transaction shown above does not appear in the Production Order. We have identified an issue where, after completing a Move transaction, the Cost Transaction is not being created for that specific Move.As a result, the system generates a WIP Adjustment Transaction when closing the Production Order instead. We reviewed two Production Orders for the same Item Code, and confirmed that both orders have the same Event History and appear to be configured identically. In one Production Order, the Move did generate a Cost Transaction, while in the other, it did not. There are also no Parent Production Orders associated with these cases, and the No project Associ
I am trying to get a report showing detailed BOMs including costing and I can’t seem to find how to do this? Can anyone help?
Hello Has anyone seen this error? I added Mass Actions to a GI for Production Order Ticket, but when I try to mass edit them or even one, I get this error. I was looking to complete or cancel multiples at once.
Has anyone out there attempted to allow users to view 3D CAD Files (.step) attached to a BOM or Production Order from within their browser? I assume we would have to use a cloud based file management system that integrates with Acumatica.Only other option I see for Acumatica-initiated viewing is to download the files to the local machine, then use a free 3D CAD viewer software, like eDrawings (Solidworks).Obviously we can use a server directory, but the user would need to search the directory for the part number based on the Inventory ID from the Production Order.
Issues is a standard GI for Acumatica. When a Customer SO is shipped, Acumatica posted the COGS side of the equation. The customer is known as the customer shipment generates the transaction, therefore one would presume the customer field would populate on the GI. We are running MRP, so the Prod Order is produced, moved to FG and then shipped from inventory.Am i missing something somewhere?cch
Hi,Looking for input on how to correct a product configuration and resulting production order that is in progress or completed.Scenario: A production order is created and partially completed, when it is decided that there needs to be a small change to the configuration. We manufacture portable storage buildings (pineviewbuildings.com) and in our case, this might be something as simple as changing the paint color due to a customer request or inventory needs changing midstream. The more common scenario is that a production employee made a mistake in the construction and now the configuration needs to be corrected to match the physical unit. Currently, there is no option modify the product configuration in any way after the production order has been released. The closest we can come is creating a new production order that consumes the finished good from the first production order, create the correct configuration result and then manually modify the materials. This, as you can imagine is v
Tried to do a transfer from one warehouse to another in production orders but got this errorkindly assistAll responses will be highly appreciated
Stock item has demand and shows up in Inventory planning display.Source accurately shows as “Manufacturing”.It has an active BOM.I select the line and click the action of “Manufacture”.It looks like it is working, and the message comes up “The operation has completed”.However, the line remains in the inventory planning display grid, and not production order is created.Any thoughts why the production order is not created? Thanks!
Hi Community,I’m looking to get your thoughts on ETO manufacturing and custom-built subassemblies. Our client does a tremendous amount of Engineer-to-Order manufacturing. In many cases, their solutions may ultimately be built once, which may also include a reasonably large portion of their subassemblies, such as laser-cut sheet metal parts. The custom products and subassemblies often fit nicely into a handful of product classes, but in their current state, they are often creating new SKUs for ETO product and subassembly. These parts are virtually never in inventory beyond the time necessary to issue them to a production order or ship the FG to the customer. The client will be using CADLink, which will be used to generate SKUs, BOMs, and to update Production Orders. We can continue down this path, which is fine. With that said, it feels as though there could be some potential benefit of creating skeleton SKUs and BOMs representing generic versions of these products. This is a solu
Does anyone have an export scenario that will export BOM’s so that they can be imported into another tenant
When scanning multiple Materials in one Scan Materials session, it defaults the quantity on the first line, and from there on out it only records quantity one. For example, I have a work order that contains qty 4 EA of three different items. Scanning the first item records an issue of qty 4. The other two items only have issue qty of 1. I have messed with Production Preferences related to bar coding to no avail.
