Bank Feeds in Canada (BMO)

Wondering if anyone is successfully using Bank feeds in Canada? Looking for strategies that work. The client banks at BMO and BNC and we’ve had a hard time making connections to either. We’ve tried both Plaid and MX with no real success. We did have a connection to BMO but using a bank card instead of normal account credentials but that has since stopped working. And at one point we were able to connect successfully using MX but the Refresh did not return any transactions on accounts that definitely had transactions. Very frustrating!

Using Shipped Not Invoiced - Can I assign COGS to different account

We activated Shipped Not Invoiced account for our Sales Orders and it is now causing us problems. We have two entities. Entity A buys from Entity B and sells to end customer. Entity B sells to Entity A and sells to other customers. When Entity B sells to Entity A - it should hit account 50110 - COGS. When Entity B sells to any other customer, it should hit 50940 - Finished Goods COGS. We had set this up by assigning COGS based on item class, which was set to 50940, but in the customer record for entity A we set the COGS account as 50110. However, now that we have started using a Shipped Not Invoiced account, the system seems to ignore the COGS settings per above. All shipments are flowing to 50940 and is no longer considering the configuration above? Is this a known issue? Does the Shipped Not Invoiced functionality prevent you from specifying the COGS accounts at the customer records levels? Could my set up be wrong somewhere?

Payment Reference Column - Sort numerically

Since we updated to 2024 R1 and checks now print in whatever order, they are no longer showing up in the Checks and Payments screen in numerical order (in the payment ref. column) See attached.Is there a way to fix this?Thank you,Gretchen

How to display “Calendar Date Equivalent” of “Financial Period” in ARM?

Hello ARM Experts,I have come across a situation in ARM that have not been able to find a way to overcome the challenge. Here is the scenario:In a single tenant I have quite a few companies and branches that their “Fiscal Year End” falls into different calendar months. Almost every month I have a company with “Fiscal Year End”. So, our master calendar is set up to be Jan through Dec. In my report “Unit Set” I have created all my companies and branches as per their hierarchy. Everything works just fine with one caveat. I can not manage to display the “Calendar Date Equivalent” of “Financial Period” of each “Unit” on the report header.As you know when we run the ARM report (24R2), we can opt to run the report either by company’s “Financial Period” or “Master Calendar”. When we use the “Master Calendar”, the data is retrieved from beginning of the “Calendar Year” through the “Start Period” selected in the ARM report. Take this for example. If a company “Fiscal Year End” is Oct 31, when we

Hi There,I’m trying to release a AP batch payment, but system only allow to export. When I hit export, an error message came up . “CA Error: The batch cannot be exported. An export scenario is not specified for the payment method.” Could you please advice how can I release the payment in Acumatica ? Thank you.

Beginning & Ending balances change on Cash Account Details when Include Unreleased is toggled

When reviewing the Cash Account Details screen, the beginning and ending balances change when the Include Unreleased checkbox is checked or unchecked. The debit and credit amounts do not change and there is no change in the listed documents.The first test was to set the start date back before the initial go-live date through to tomorrow’s date. In that scenario, nothing changed when the Include Unreleased checkbox was toggled.Moving the start date up to 10/31 through tomorrow’s date started the beginning and ending balances to change. As the date is moved up closer to today’s date, the amount of the change in the beginning and ending balances changes. I have reviewed the reconciliation statement that is on Hold and could not make any changes there that affected the beginning and ending balances, but I did note that the earliest unreconciled document was dated 10/31. The difference in the begging and ending balances did not equal the amount of the un-reconciled document.When I look

Convert from Opportunity to Service Order and salesperson is wiped out

We have found when converting from an opportunity to a service order the salesperson name is wiped out. We currently go into the finance tab and select the salesperson. Anyone know why this is wiped out or if there is a way to prevent it? Not a huge deal to re-enter it but it sometimes gets forgotten so it would be preferable to transfer over. Thanks!

Rowset inclusive of both balance sheet and income statement accounts

Does anyone know if there is a side effect in ARM to have all balance sheet and income statement accounts in a single Row Set. I am not sure why all out of box samples have different row sets for balance sheet and income statement accounts. I created one all inclusive and doesn’t seem to have any obvious issue but I would appreciate if you can share your experience about the potential side effects.

Expense Claim Approval Map - Date Range Condition?

Migrating to ACM, currently on 2024R1, heading to UAT.I have a working Expense Claim approval map that routes claims to supervisors, emails them they have approvals to do and emails users who get their claims rejected….all good.I’m trying to replicate a policy we have in our current ERP system which prevents employees from claiming expenses earlier than 21 days in the past. There’s no “expense policy management” per se in ACM, so was thinking of making it the first step in my approval map, with an empty workgroup as the approver so it’ll get rejected automatically.I was considering using the actual claim line detail date but the Condition does not allow something like “@Today-21”. It only has the Date picker option: First, is this a relative value if I put in a Value and Value 2, like in an automation schedule (where it’ll advance on its own)?Second, if not (and it doesn’t look like that), does anyone have an idea on how I can implement this policy, either here in a map or some other m

What could cause tax and freight totals to vary between SO and invoices?

I’m not sure where to start troubleshooting this. Our system is set up so that when a shipment is confirmed an invoice is automatically created and released. But I am finding that a lot of the invoices are being put on a credit hold because (and this is an assumption) the invoices have different totals than the sales orders.We do have a big tax customization that may be the cause of this but I’m not sure where to dig to confirm or deny that.When I look into the DAC for the tax total field on the invoice and sales order it seems that the infromation is coming from the same place Sales Order element properties: DAC for SOOrder and CuryTaxTotal field Invoice element properties: DAC for ARInvoice and CuryTaxTotal field This is as deep as my knowledge goes for troubleshooting this and was wondering if someone could give me my next steps? I’m not familiar with Business Logic and was thinking maybe that was the next step.

AP Vendor Cash Account update

In the initial set-up of Acumatica and Vendor Classes, a cash account was entered in the “Default Financial Settings” for each class. Now, we are using a new cash account to pay vendors. We have removed the default cash account in all classes so feel new Vendors added will not have a default cash account. We were able to mass update the cash account for all open AP bills using GI. We would now like to update all Vendor records either by removing the old cash account default (i.e. default cash account would be blank) or the new cash account. We tried using GI, adding the “location” data to the Vendor record but were unsuccessful in creating the needed relations to accomplish the mass update. Any and all help to get this update completed as a mass update is appreciated.
