Hi guys, a question on multicurrency accounting.

I transfered 1000 USD from the USD bank account to SGD bank account, I received 1350 SGD and there’s a gain of 1.16 SGD here (base currency is SGD). But in the journal transaction, the realized gain/loss from currency shows 0. Then I checked P&L, it actually shows the right amount of 1.16 gain in the statement. Anyone knows why’s it like that? Could there possibly be anything wrong with the journal transaction? Thanks!

Hi @shuang57

Please check the numbers in base currency. It should be visible.

Click on ‘VIEW BASE’ on Journal transaction screen.

Hope this helps,

Regards
