How to link company to company groups in a Generic Inquiry

I am running a GI which shows all GL Transactions from a particular ledger. These branches belong to one of three company groups. I need to be able to show the company group for each branch on the line on the GI.Is there a way in which one can link the branch to the organisation company groups? Many of the ‘related’ tables are hidden.Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you.

The cash account does not exist for the following branch and account

Trying to enter a journal entry to a cash account for a specific branch, and get the error “cash account does not exist for the following branch and account: LFD, 10100”We have a cash account set up for 10100 under branch RDA. The box is UNchecked for “Restrict visibility with branch” in the Cash Account set up window.When posting a journal entry for 10100, if I select ANY branch other than RDA, I get the same error. I thought that if I unchecked the restrict visibility with branch in the cash account window, that I would be able to post a journal entry for cash 10100 for any branch.If I go into Receivables and post a customer payment for branch LFD, I can select a payment method and the 10100 cash account in the payments & applications window. But it doesn’t seem to work in the journal transaction screen. So far, the only workaround I’ve found is to set up a separate cash account for 10100 under branch LFD. Is that the only answer? If so, I’m concerned that I won’t be able

Has anyone encountered a customer request like this, and is it something Acumatica can support? The customer is asking for all invoices from the statement period to be sent attached along with the AR statement. Please share your experience.

I have an employee on vacation, but belongs to a Workgroup, no Reassing Delegated Activities orders shows up

Good day, I have a client that has a employee on vacation, with the delegation to a other employee from 9/27/24 to 10/12/24, so right now, the reassignation should be working the rule has the checkbox turned on to allow reassignation of Approvalas,. and instead of Employees, we have Workgroup to be the approver, the employee on vacation belogs to that workgroup, but the system is not allowing us to reassing the approval on the “Reassign Delegated Activities” screen (EP503020). if you have a Employee as the approver on the rule, the system reassings everything automatically with no issues, but not with a workgroup. As anybody find a solution how to reassing the approvals of a workgroup when they are out?

Hi- we were waiting for a significant repayment from HMRC for VAT, and wondered why it hadn’t been paid. From checking on our government portal our submission was zero. However, on the submission on acumatica has been unreleased but submitted - how is this possible?

Completing the payment - cybersource secure acceptance

We have created a payment processor for cybersource secure acceptance and we implemented the classes: V2.ICCHostedPaymentFormProcessor V2.ICCTransactionGetter V2.ICCProfileCreator V2.ICCHostedPaymentFormResponseParserView original The issue we have now, is that after payment is done on cybersource, it returns back the response to the PaymentConnector.html which in turn perfom the next line window.parent.px_callback.paymentCallback('action=transactResponse&response=' + urlParams.get("ref") );this close the payment popup, but the payment it self not converted to completed, not sure why and when opening the payment details and look under card processing tab, it display “Does not exist error” (see attached)I’m not sure what I’m missing at that stage, hope anyone can advise.

Splitting multiple pdfs (AR Invs/CMs) to combine into 1 email

Hello! So I understand Acumatica can send out AR Invs/CMs in mass, by email, which sends 1 email per every 1 document. I also know if we multi-select and then go to Print, we can send out multiple documents combined into 1 pdf, with 1 email. These options are great, however there are certain clients who would instead prefer to see multiple documents split up into 1 email. Do anyone know if there is a way to do this?

We’re in Canada and use the Plaid API to retrieve bank transactions and are wondering if it’s possible to retrieve bank balances as well. If so, how do you configure Acumatica/Plaid and where would Acumatica store & display the balance.Ideally we’d like a dashboard showing bank balance less uncleared cash transactions to show an available cash position.TIA

How far forward should I "Delete Outdated Recognition Results"?

For AP Document Recognition, there’s a screen called “Delete Outdated Recognition Results”. Help documentation recommends periodically deleting records to save space, but doesn’t say how long records should be kept (if at all). I’m wondering if the historical records are used to improve future recognition results. Or does the machine learn without referencing historical results? Should I keep 6 months (for example) of history or delete everything up to the current date?Appreciate any insight!

Display GI as a weighted average in Chart

I have a GI for drop shipped items that looks at the selling price on an SO and compares it with the cost on the associated PO. I have a calculated field for margin & margin %. I would like to add this to a chart that tracks the weighted average margin % but the chart will simply give the average of the averages and is not weighted. How can I make this a weighted average?

Discounts Lost on Split Shipment

Hello Folks, wondering if anyone has experienced this issue and if it could possibly be just intended functionality.Our Sales Order with multiple lines has a total amount that initiates one of the discounts we’ve setup (i.e. >2500 = 20% discount). The sales order resulted in a split shipment which resulted in multiple invoices. So when the invoices are created it no longer recognizes the 20% discount because the amount (on each invoice) is below the threshold of 2500. And the discount is incorrect. Thanks in advance!

Avalara and Shopify Connectors Configuration Optimization Required

We are set up with the Acumatica Shopify connector for both US and Canadian transactions. We just implemented the Avalara connector. We generate sales via Shopify in Canada and the US, as well as B2B sales within Acumatica. For the Shopify transactions, we let Shopify calculate the tax, and we are not recalculating tax in Acumatica - no call to Avalara. However, in the Shopify connector, the tax is set to Avalara so that the tax code is automatically set up in Acumatica - I believe this is done by the Avalara connector and is an API call to Avalara. At month end, we extract all the Shopify transactions for US states where we are collecting tax and import those transactions into AvaTax. For all US B2B transactions, we enter the transaction in Acumatica and make an API call to Avalara to get the tax rate. Upon invoice, the transaction is automatically sent to AvaTax. This means that whether or not we are charging tax in the ship to state, a call is made to Avalara for the tax. I’m

changes on AP bil retainage logic?

We just upgrade our version from 2022R1 to 2023R1. We received complaint from our customer regarding on AP retainage process flow. Previously, user can define retainage during AP bill data entry without need to define at Vendor or Purchase Order. With 2023R1 version, user need to enabled retainage option at vendor master and retainage option must be define at Purchase order first then it will trigger at AP bill screen. Why the process flow changes? and i try to find the changes in 2022R2 and 2023R1 release note. No record on this changes. Or i miss out the information. Any one have solution as Purchase order already released without retainage and now user want to create AP Bil invoice with retainage. Thank you,NasFrom Malaysia with love.

Can we conditionally tax items based on the company/branch does the purchasing.

Hello all,I am wondering how we can configure the system Purchase Order/Receiving/AP Bills to conditionally calculate tax or make exception based on the Company/Branch buying from a vendor? Vendors profiles are shared between all companies but some of our companies have tax exemptions, and some don’t. So, when we purchase stock/nonstock items using PO to AP or direct AP Bill, depending on what company/branch is the buyer, taxes should be added to the items or be exempted. How can we do this?

foreign currency budget consolidation

Hi We are trying to consolidate our groups budgets. One company is in a foreign currency. Goal is to report Group actual results against Group budget results using local currency for both.Our support partner has told us that Acumatica can’t translate foreign currency budgets so they can be consolidated into Group. Is this true? Seems odd that it can’t. thanks Peter
