Hi all,I was wondering if there’s any way to configure a tax code with Net/Gross amount entry on AR invoices and AP bills respectively. For example, I’d like the calculation rule to be inclusive line-level for output VAT, and exclusive line-level for input VAT. Is there any way to achieve that, other than creating 2 tax codes?Thanks! 

Hi! I made some error upon creating cash account. I have made the Accounts Receivable as cash account. Is there any workaround for this? System says that I can no longer delete the cash account and change it, as there is already GL transactions made prior to creation of Cash account. Highlighted in yellow is the wrong account entered. 

In our test environment, we’ve created a Non-Stock ‘Freight Estimate’ item to add to Sales Orders so we can authorize a credit card payment before the shipment.  The ‘Require Shipment’ box is unchecked and the settings for our Sales Order Preferences, Order Type, Shipping Rule, and Non-Stock Item are identical, but in our Live environment it is left off the Shipment (visually), but is pulled onto the Invoice and shows the Shipment # on the line.  This does NOT happen in testing which is the desired behavior. We have ‘Add zero lines for Items not in Stock’ checked and we give the ‘Freight Estimate’ a quantity of 0.   Does anyone have any info on why a non-stock item that doesn’t ‘Require Shipment’ is being attached on the back end to the shipment..and messing up our invoices? This issues has been driving me and our Partner nuts.  Nobody seems to be able to figure it out, so I’m really hoping someone here can help us out.  I can post a ton of

Hi.So the brief story is this:Our company purchased a service that has a validation for 1 year, from DEC 10 2021 to DEC 10 2022 (as shown in the picture below). And I want to record the amount into “Paid in Advance” account, then amortize it monthly. The problem is, I couldn’t find anywhere to set it. I tried to set it by creating a new “Non-stock Item” or a new “Posting Class” (shown below), but I’m not sure where to key in the “Paid in Advance” account. Could anyone please tell me how to do it, or if I’m using the wrong form here? Many thanks.

Can someone let me know what the logic of the conversion of units of measure is. I have read the help area about 10 times and I must have a mental block as it seems to be the reverse of what I would expect for converting from one unit to another. i.e. I would think converting a box of 10 bottles to a base of 1 bottle would require the instructions to divide by 10 but the operand is multiply. I am feeling quite stupid about this so please be gentle..

Hey Team,AP Viewer role permission is set as Read-Only for Bill & Adjustments Screen. but the user is still able to perform PAY action on the screen. There are no Customizations on the site. One thing I noticed is the default workflow for the screen is disabling the PAY action only when the status is closed. Could this be the reason why the Permission set on Access by Rights Role is getting overridden by Workflow condition. 

We have an invoice that is showing a Status of Balanced, and when we try to release it we receive the following error.Error: Inserting 'Applications' record raised at least one error. Please review the errors. The total application amount, including the cash discount and the write-off amounts, cannot be negative. We have looked though the entire order and cannot figure out what the issue is. We have looked at other invoices that have been completed and we can not find any differences.Anyone have an idea what this error message is refering to or where we need to look to fine the problem.Thank you!

Project SRK100 adds a custom field UsrSRKTestCard inside a new fieldset (SRK100_BaseFields). Project SRK200 attempts to insert another custom field UsrSRKTestField using the after selector to place it immediately after the SRK100 field. The issue is: Problem: Although the customization compiles with no errors and both packages published successfully.  The field from Project SRK200 (UsrSRKTestField) display in the UI in ‘groupDataProcessingSettings’ field set.  But It should appear immediately after UsrSRKTestCard, but it is not. Hello,My company will be receiving purchased inventory directly to the warehouse, and storing it from there. The warehouse team will be using scanners to automate the process, and they are equipped with PO Receivers we’ve provided to them (With barcodes for both PO and Inventory Items), and Location Barcodes.What we’d like to happen is they remotely use the Receive and Put Away function to create a purchase receipt (with auto generated serials) against against the PO for the corresponding inventory that they are receiving. It should be simple, however I cannot get the Receive and Put Away function to accept a purchase order number/barcode. It only asks for a purchase receipt, which defeats the purpose as the warehouse team is the first to receive it.Am I missing something? Any help provided would be greatly appreciated!!!

I am entering our credit card transaction and it won’t allow me to post a credit transaction.  

I am receiving an error when trying to enter an AP Bill.The Purchase Order has one line item, for a quantity of 10 pieces. All 10 pieces have been received and a receipt for the 10 has been created and released.Now when I get the invoice a few days later from the vendor, I go to the Purchase Order # mentioned on the invoice, however, when I click the “Enter AP Bill” from the actions drop down, I receive the following error: 

Hi!When loading open AP with balances and/or retention, which screen fields are referred to in the error message as “Migrated Balance” and “Document Amount”? We were able to load cleanly with migration mode off as an initial test, but not with migration mode on as is needed. Thank you,Dave Z

Hello! Does anyone know what is causing this error while trying to release an invoice? The system only has one currency set up which is USD; all chart of accounts has USD listed as currency; the ACTUAL ledger also has USD listed as currency. Am I missing anywhere to check for this?  

At transition, the team made several errors when posting invoices and payments.  And when correcting the errors, additional issues were created.  Scenario:  AR Invoice was posted for $354k - invoice was paid by client in two payments.  When the 1st payment was applied, the Amount was not changed and the payment was posted as the full inv amount, but the payment was for $256k. Transactions were posted 11/2023. When the second payment was posted, it resulted in a negative AR. To correct the issue, the 1st payment was voided, but the void was posted in the wrong month.  Voided posted in 03/2024. To correct the incorrect month, the re-posted payment was voided (2nd Void posted in 03/2024) and reposted in the correct month 11/2023. Learned through this that you can’t void a void.  And have since reviewed a post on this forum how to correctly move an incorrectly posted voided payment from month to month. But the result of t

Hi, I have been facing issues where employee working time against project is not updating correctly under Cost Budget tab. Few checks done -GL Accural Account under Project and Expense Accural Account for Non Stock Item are same. It belongs to Labour Account groupUOM is displayed same for Project transactions and on Cost Budget line.When employee enters hours for project, Actual qty is not updated. It still displays 0Recalculate Project balances does not affect.  Please help.

Hello!I followed the instruction in this post (How to create approval flow in Expenses Claim | Community (acumatica.com)) and was able to create a basic approval flow for expenses, but here are two things I can’t figure out. is there a way to create multiple level of approvals? Where first the expense gets approved by direct manager, and then it goes to next level authority to initiate payment? Is there a way to set email notifications on both level of approvals? this is the first level approval.. but once approved, how to move it to the next level authority to initiate payment?  I can’t seem to get the
