An Acumatica client  recently saw a webinar (Jan-Feb 2021) with new features that are to be added to the Acumatica Customer Portal to allow a customer to view an invoice and process a payment for an invoice.  Can you verify that feature – taking a payment on the portal, what release and what is the cost? I just reviewed the 2021 R1 release notes and saw no reference to this.  Do you know if this is planned?  And…. If you can direct me to any documentation or a webinar that would be great.

Hello everyone,I've encountered an issue concerning how item descriptions are handled between the Stock Item  master and its usage within the Bill of Material module.When I update the Description of a standard Stock Item (e.g., on the Stock Items (IN202500) screen), this change is not automatically inherited by the corresponding component line item within any existing BOM. I must manually open and update the BOM to reflect the new description.Why is this the intended behavior in Acumatica? From a data consistency and efficiency standpoint, it seems logical that the BOM component's description would always reference or automatically update from its master Stock Item record.Could someone explain the design philosophy behind this apparent lack of synchronization? I'm trying to understand why this would be implemented as a feature to be managed manually, rather than an automatic system update. Running version Build 21.115.0017.I looked at vendor which indicated that I was the last one to make the change via the Audit History… screen menu option.My co-worker logged on and looked at the same vendor and looked at the Audit History and it showed that they made the last change at the same time.Then we looked at the same customer record with the same results. His view of Audit History showed that he made the last change and my view of Audit History showed that I made the last change.Has anyone else seen this?(note that the user timezone has not been set so the difference in the times are due to timezones)

I have built a GI against projects (we have an attribute called "delivery date" ) to give our delivery drivers a view of what they need to deliver to site from the facory today. The GI works nice and comes across to the mobile app real well, but I want to have it so that the delivery driver can tap on the project in his filtered view and it will open the correct project for him to upload photos of proof of delivery directly to the project. Currently they have to jump out of the delivery view and search in the project for it. Example of how today's deliveries look in the app... If only we could just tap on these … 

I created a template for adding specific line items to a sales order. When the line items are added, I want the Manual Price flag to be unchecked. I marked the manual price flag as False in the template. However, when the template is applied, the manual price checkbox is marked as true.  

Hi guys,I’ve noticed that there’s Pending Approval Notification for EMP Time Cards, but we want another notification working as following: whenever a time card is rejected, the owner/Employee should receive an email that he/she should check the reason, revise it accordingly and resubmit. So far I couldn’t find it anywhere in “Time & Expenses Preferences”. Is it possible to achieve it?Thanks.

I have a generic inquiry that looks at all sales orders. My goal is to send an email to required receipients when a ship date changes. Here is the trigger conditions:and the fields to track: The Business Event history is empty. Ship dates are being changed.Any ideas why it is not triggering? Is it a problem with the BE or GI? 

How do I edit the order of the SECTIONS on a wiki? These would be the wiki headers like REFERENCE, END USER, etc in the ACUMATICA EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES help link. The order seems to be random with different sites and I’m trying to get END USER set as the top section instead of REFERENCE.Thank You!

I searched but I wasn’t able to find anything.  Has a date announced as to when the 2025 R1 release will be available to all customers. We are currently on 2023 R2 and want to upgrade before the retirement date of that version which I believe is May 30th.   We are looking at going to 2025 R1 instead of 2024 R2.

I have 2 tenants in our Acumatica install (single server). Test and Live. On our Test tenant I was able to get a System Email account added, setup and working perfect. However on our Live tenant, after mirroring the settings exactly like the account on the Test tenant, after clicking the [TEST] button, it just spins, and the Elapsed Time just keeps counting.I've triple checked the system email account settings, everything matches.Some notes:The spinner "Press to abort", does nothing.System Management -> System Monitor does show the running process. However the ABORT button does nothing. We have a need to be able to assign workgroups to Tasks  (which of course Acumatica supports). We need to be able to send email notifications to all members of the workgroup that have been assigned to the task.Does anyone have any ideas on the strategy using Business Events/Notifications? I have tried with a generic inquiry to create a record in the GI for each member of the group - but the Notification never gets triggered. ThanksBob

Is it possible to have more than one quote under an opportunity that we eventually convert to a project? We are a window manufacturing company and often we want to split an opportunity into several phases (eg downstairs Windows and upstairs windows) and when successful in our bid, convert both, not just the primary to separate projects.Not sure how to do this?

I have created an email notification in Email Notification for ACH payments that includes the date and amount of the bills and payments in the email, but the formatting is not carrying over from the formatting on the records in Acumatica. An example of my email is below: Payment of $2850 is in process from via ACH for the following transaction details:    Bill - 123456 - 9/2/2021 12:00:00 AM - Services Provided - $1500    Bill - 123568 - 8/23/2021 12:00:00 AM - Services Provided - $1350  Is there a way to get the date formatted without the timestamp and the numbers to format with a comma and decimal point along with the zeros?

I am working in Acumatica 24R2 Build 24.205.0015. Currently, I am trying to update my local instance to be more up to date with our live instance. I took a snapshot of my Local, using the “Exclude Wiki and Attachments” setting.  However, the snapshot file was larger than what is natively supported in Acumatica (My file size if 1.21GB). As a result, I followed the instructions from this link allow me to import larger snapshot files.https://community.acumatica.com/maintenance-and-troubleshooting-229/how-to-increase-the-size-limit-for-a-snapshot-file-being-uploaded-150?tid=150&fid=229 Now, I am able to upload the snapshot into my local tenant, however I am unable to actually restore the snapshot to the instance. Every time I try, I run into the following error. “An error occurred while importing data into the 'GLTran' table.”  With the error stated being “System.IO.IOException: Stream was too long.”. How to delete all stock item/non stock item records?I have uploaded 300k records and I would like to start fresh again. So far I have found nothing to mass delete that amount of records in one go, the closest is https://nexvue.com/acumatica-tips-tricks-how-to-enable-mass-delete-records/ that I can only select all records on a paged result, but I need something like “select all” option that beyond the first page, like in Gmail.Happy to do it via API if it’s possible, but an UI would be better.CheersJames 

Hello, I’m looking to automatically add an item to an order when a certain item is entered on a sales order.An example would be: User enters item ‘X’ on the sales order, and item ‘Y’ is automatically entered after it.This is useful for promotions or when we’re trying to sell certain products together. It’s easier for our sales team if there could be some automation, instead of manually entering these items each time. Thanks

Hello,I accidentally ended up with almost duplicate Inventory ID’s for some products.  Correct Inventory ID - HEMWPAAD2027 - not associated with any other recordsIncorrect Inventory ID - HEMWPAAD02027 - SO’s and inventory all associated with this ID.Difference is the 0 after the D.  I am trying to delete HEMWPAAD2027 as a tock item, which it looks like it does.Then I want to Change ID on stock item HEMWPAAD02027 to the now deleted (but correct) ID of HEMWPAAD2027.I hit delete, and it appears that this item is now deleted. I try to change ID on HEMWPAAD02027 to the ID I just deleted, but get this error: I hit OK and it somehow goes back to the Inventory ID I just deleted. I’m not sure what to do.  How do I go about deleting and changing the ID’s?Thanks,

Does anyone else have this issue when creating a support case?I seem to be missing scroll bars in the case window and can not get back to the top / header of the case.  I have this using Chrome and FireFox and clear cache does not resolveAs shown below once I filled in the detail section  I only have the cancel or submit as options and if something is missing in the attributes can not scroll up to correct I could create a word doc and attach to case as a workaround but feel I should be able to put in all my details in the details and still get back to the header
