Question

What Weigh Scale do you use with Smart Shipment? Who uses a Weight + Dimension scale like Cubiscan?

For those who use shipping software integrated with weigh scales, what weigh scale(s) do you use? How does this  work for you?

Also, who uses a weight + dimensions scale like the Cubiscan 100 (with or without shipping software integrated)?

Has anyone had luck with this?

We have 12 packaging lines and 80% of our shipments do NOT use preset boxes, so we manually enter the dimensions of the box for every shipment. This is time consuming and error prone.

We'd like to use dimensioners (e.g. Cubiscan or Mettler-Toledo). From what I can tell, DeviceHub works for weight only, not W x L x H. The SMScale DB table validates this assumption; there is only a column for LastWeight. I have some ability to customize Acumatica, but if DeviceHub won't send the dimensions, any customization is a non-starter.

Any ideas how to get a dimensioner to work with Acumatica? Cubiscan and Mettler-Toledo units are USB HID protocol compatible... can DeviceHub be upgraded to support dimensions in addition to weight for connected scales?
