Intercompany Sales Price Not updating in the Sales Order

Hi Connections, I have a question about intercompany sales orders > Sales Pricing not updating as configured. I've provided the scenario below.Let's say inventory ST0034 I am creating a purchase order on behalf of SERVICE EAST Company. Vendor will be a WHOLESALE company. I set the vendor pricing as "RM 200" and the sales price as "RM 300". As I can see in the PO, the vendor price has been modified in accordance with the vendor pricing document. Then I convert that PO into a SO after noticing that the inventory price has not been updated as per the sales price in the sales order. Still, it appears to be merely the vendor purchase price. Since it was an intercompany transaction, we defined the price in sales pricing, Can anyone help me on this… Thanks in Advance. RegardsRam

Blanket Sales Order Requested on Date Question

We are in the processe of implmentation and I am exploring the Blanket Sales Order functionality and have run into what I belive is an issue related to the “Requested On Date” on the Blanket Order Type.When creating a blanket order you can define the “Requested on Date” for the line item in the Details table (had to add this column), however when you go to Line Details, you can only define the “Sched Shipment Date” for each line, not the Requested On Date. Additionally I have discovered that when creating Child Orders from the Blanket order, the “Requested On Date” on the Child Sales Order defaults to the Current Date regardless of what is set on the Blanket Order. I have also observed that the “Scheduled Shipment Date” on the Child Sales Order defaults to the “Scheduled Ship Date” minus the defined number of Lead Time days set on the customer record, which is how I would expect it to behave.My conclusion is that setting the “Requested On Date” and “Scheduled Ship Date” in the

Company currency is USD, I have created a sales price list by mentioning customer and their currency ExampleSales Price WorksheetItem A - EUR - 10 After I have released the price list, system still picks the default price (USD) from stock item instead of customer price defined in Euro in Sales Price. Will Acumatica support different currency in Sales price other than base currency ?

Business Event to Update Max Qty (Replenishment) calculated from the Min Qty

Interesting that Acumatica only calculates a reorder point. For many distribution businesses, there should be a calculation for the max that spreads the min/max values.(1) Has anyone addressed this?(2) I am trying to create a business event to update the Max, with a calculation (simple testing is just something like 1.25 * the Min Value)I have my GI, Import Scenario and Business Event. I am struggling with syntax/approach to update the max. I have tried creating the calculated value in a column output in the GI and use that to update Max in the import scenario. I have also tried to put the formula in the Import Scenario to calculate the new max from the min. Various attempts have returned various errors. Anyone have suggestions? Is this an area anyone else struggles with providing solutions?

Handling freight costs on PO

I’m curious to learn how other clients are using the system to communicate the freight amount to the Receiving department. Here is the use case:The Purchasing team creates a PO and sends to the vendor. The goods on the PO will ship via Collect with one of our own freight carriers, so the supply vendor will not invoice us the freight. The purchasing team knows the amount of freight for this order. We’re trying to figure out how to communicate the freight amount within the system so that when our Receiving department receives the order, they know how much to process the Landed Cost transaction for. Currently, we’re listing a non-stock FREIGHT item on the PO so that it transfers to the Receipt document. However, this causes issues to the Accounting team because it creates a receipt accrual for the non-stock FREIGHT item for a vendor that will not be billing us the freight. How many Pivot tables can a GI handle

We have 5 different Pivot table that use a single Generic Inquiry(GI) as the source . Does this affect performance ? When I open one of the Pivot table which has 190,000 records in it . Th system takes about 30 seconds to load before displaying the records in the Pivot table. I am wondering since a single GI is used as a source for 5 Pivot tables , it takes around 30 seconds to display one of these five pivot table or it is because of the number of records(190,000) in this Pivot. What would you recommend to optimize or streamline ?

Operation parm for SOOrderEntry.CreateShipment

Before our latest upgrade to V2023R2, which included upgrades for V2022R1 and V2022R2 the code below worked, now it doesn’t. We learned our lesson to not skip multiple updates and in the meantime I am scrambling to fix code that once worked.The information on CreateShipment states a string operation parm is needed. I went to GoTo Definition in SOOrderEntry Operation List and found that there are two options, I for Issue and R for Receipt.I do not know what the operation field does or how it affects the create shipment. I also don’t know how to add the parm in a way the CreateShipment method will accept.CODE:SOOrderEntry.CreateShipment(adapter, order.ShipDate, Filter.Current.UserWhse);

Is it possible to have an automatic discount of $1 per extra item if purchasing 2 or more of the same item?

We would like to offer a discount on 2 or more of an identical item in a certain price class.What we want to do is have a discount of $1 per extra item applied when the customer orders 2 or more of any item in a specified price class. We do not want it to apply if the customer orders 1 of one item in the price class and 1 of another, it has to be more of the same item. Is this possible and if so, how would I go about setting it up?I have set up a discount code for a price class where 2 or more of the item will trigger a discount of $1 but it only does it once. We would want each additional item to trigger a $1 discount. Thanks for any advice, Phil

Manage Sales Allocations - functionality is incompatible with Sales Orders approvals.

During implementation and testing, we discovered that the new Manage Sales Allocations screen is not compatible / not properly functional when Sales Order Approvals are required.With Sales Orders approvals are required, only lines from On Hold sales orders show up in Manage Sales Allocations, despite no order type filters being used on Manage Sales Allocations. This is not acceptable, as unallocated lines from Open status sales orders are not showing and will be bypassed by the Manage Sales Allocations processing.This was reported on an Acumatica support case - and I was told this functionality is “by design. I understand technically why it is not working; as when using Require Approvals, orders must be put on hold in order to make any changes.I feel that inventory allocations should be allowed to be modified on Open Orders, even if approvals are required. Does anyone else have opinions that allocating to approved open orders should be expected? Thank you.

Shipping Confirmation Emails — best practices?

Hey there, I have a clunky process that I’d love to get thoughts on how best to improve: Shipment confirmation emails for some of our order types.I’ve always been confused by Acumatica’s out-of-the-box “Email Shipment” Action on the Process Shipments screen. There are some major defects to it:When rows are processed, they don’t drop off the queue. So you cannot schedule this screen, at the risk that the same email could be sent more than once (which is a bad customer experience). Rows drop off this screen once the shipments get invoiced. So if they get invoiced prior to getting emailed, we’ve lost our window to email those out. Can the email template associated with this process action capture all the necessary fields that we want to include in our email? Tracking numbers, tracking URLs, etc. I honestly don’t know.So I guess Business Events come to the rescue...except:They are notoriously frustrating to get working properly. They may just choose not to work and you don’t know why, lol.

Expose File Name and potential other File Data in Generic Inquiry for Filtering and Dashboarding

Hi All, We are trying to expose File names and potential other Data to a GI.One usecase is Shipments that are being signed on Delivery through the native Mobile App.I don’t see a Flag indicating it was signed in the DAC Schemas but a signature file is attached.We would be able to utilize this for our Reporting and Analysis if we can expose the File Name. I tried joining PX.SM.UploadFileWithIDSelector and PX.SM.UploadFile via the NoteID field but just got blank results in the Inquiry for the file Data. Any ideas how this can be made happen?

Transferring Nonstock Items Between Warehouses

Hello, I trying to find a good answer to the below: We want to input our maintenance items in as non-stock items (we do not track quantity, and most are made on site and we do not want to create work orders for them) However, our main site/warehouse handles almost all of the stock and ships it to our 3 other warehouses as needed. We would like to be able to do a transfer of the non-stock item (cost) to the warehouse that is receiving the part. The cost of the materials and labor are all already calculated in the cost of the Maintenace part. When I try to do a 2-step transfer, I am able to save the transfer, create a shipment, and update IN. When I try to receive at the receiving warehouse the transfer doesn’t show up, and when I check the transfer order it shows as completed. However, I am seeing no GL transaction associated with this either. This also applies to our non-stock production materials (screws, nuts, bolts, rivets etc.) Where a plant might need to supply another plant and w

On the Inventory Transaction History screen, there is a handy button to ‘Include landed cost in unit cost’. Interestingly, this also updates the impact of any PPV cost adjustments on the receipt.Without PPV (original PR price) & with PPV (after PPV revalued)Is there any easy method to retrieve this additional cost layer information through a GI, so we can push it through an import scenario? Specifically, we need to update the Last Cost of specific valued items so that it reflects the actual receipt cost with PPV revaluation included.
