Modify Purchase Receipt Workflows to Print Purchase Receipt Form on Release

I have a client who wants a simple modification to the PO receipts workflow where upon successful release of the PO Receipt, they want the system to automatically print the PO Receipt form.Has anyone been successful in adding an “Auto Run” modification to RT workflow? Based on what I see, we can only duplicate the Print Receipt on the toolbar after the receipt is released.

Custom Combo Box not updating when adding to it

I have a custom field that I created in my IN.InventoryItem table that looks like this:Previously I have this as 3 fields when I created it, published, and everything worked as expected. I went back today to add a 4th field (EF in the first string, EFOY Trailer in the second string) Published the customization, but only get the original 3 options. I tired to publish with clean up, but still did not get the expected results. Any ideas on what I did wrong, or what step I am missing?

What could cause missing payment Reference numbers?

Hello - We noticed that we have missing numbers in the sequence for our payments for one of our properties. They are creating automatically from the AP suggest next record, and no one has access to modify that setting. The system skips from reference number 7526 to 7528, skipping two reference numbers. The auditors caught this and are wondering the cause, and have deemed it an actionable issue. As far as I am aware, once a payment is created and a reference number assigned, it cannot be deleted, only voided, which still leaves the reference number. My question is, what possible scenarios could cause this, outside of someone changing the Last Reference Number on the payment method?

Labour rounding Issue

We are experiencing an issue where we want to round the labour actual hours to the nearest 30 minute interval, however our options are to either change the actual time or change the extended price. If we change the extended price, then the unit price will show on the invoice as something other than our flat unit price rate. For example: a 22 minute job that we want to bill out an hour for…. if we change the extended price to 110 (which is our hourly rate) on the invoice the unit price shows as $200 and change. Ultimately we want to capture the actual hours worked by technicians, but invoice to a minimum of 1 hour, or the nearest 30 minute interval.

2024R2 Preview: Long build times for frontend source code

Is this expected?It takes a frustrating amount of time for the build process to run for frontend source code.I was hoping development would be faster on the new UI, but so far it has been very slow. Every time I make a change to the typescript or html files, rebuilding the source code takes approximately a minute, even for a simple screen. Anyone have any ideas?

Update Costs Button for Sales Quotes

How to get Approved Employee to the Report

Can someone help me with the joinin to get the Approved Employee from this screen ?I want to get the approved employee related to this Refnbr. I tried so many ways but none of it is working.This is the joinin that im currently using in my report schema builder.Also the dac mentioned in the inspect element of the approved employee is hidden. Therefore i am trying to get it through its base dac which is EPEmployee. Also once the record is approved the name and id goes to EPApproval dac. How can i navigate from APPayment to EPEmployee/EPApproval in order to get the approved employee name ? Please help!

Problem with Replenishment Quantity Ordered (UOM)

Hello,We are new to Acumatica, and we are using Replenishing for our purchases. We ran into an issue, and it looks like it does not take into consideration UOM or conversion factor. For example, it asks us to order 20 each of a part or product, and we enter a PO for one case. It still asks us to order 19 more even though the conversion factor is already defined on the item profile to 1 case = 20 each. We cannot enter a PO for 20 each because our supplier does not sell it by each.In addition to that, it does not round the UOM. For example, if it asks us to order 30 each of a part and the conversion factor is 1 case = 20 each, it creates a PO for 1.5 cases. It does not round it to 2 cases. Is there any option or field in ACUMA to fix it?

Can you have more than one User-Defined Field screen tab?

When you create a User-Defined Field with the Low Code/No Code functionality, it creates a tab next to the “Document” tab on that screen. (see screen shot below for reference). Is there a way to have multiple “User-Defined Fields” tabs at the screen header level? Additionally, is there a way to move a Low Code/No Code UDF, (which is essentially a type of Attribute), to the screen “Document” Header?Thank you,Jeff

Project Time card UI questions on daily comments, OT entry

To our clients looking to move to Acumatica, the Employee Time card function in Construction seems pretty cumbersome. But I hope someone can point me to better ways to do the following:How do you enter a note for a specific day of the week that can appear on invoices? The only workaround I can think of is to enter a line for everyday… OT entry seems cumbersome - Is adding a new line with the OT earnings type the only way? Thanks.

Incorrect Fedex Freight Cost

Using 2024R1 and the Fedex Rest API - we are noticing major discrepancies between the freight cost returned to Acumatica and what we are actually charged. The variance is between 15-30% and the cost Acumatica is typically lower in most cases. The weights and package dimensions match between Acumatica and the Fedex cost report. Ideas?

Ability to sync Payment terms from Shopify Order to Acumatica Sales Order

With 2024 R2, we are adding ability for the users to import payment terms from the order in Shopify to the terms for the imported sales order.The rules for importing payment terms during the order import process, the connector shall: Check if there is a substitution list added to the Payment Terms checkbox in the Order Settings tab of the Shopify Stores (BC201010) form, and if found, match the payment term name from the substitution list to the credit term in ERP. If no substitution list, check the actual Credit Terms(CS206500) name in Acumatica and if it finds a match the payment term name from Shopify, then use it. If still no match, use the default credit terms from the Customer record. Is it possible to have Production and Purchase Orders default to different locations?

My team is beginning to implement production and purchase orders into the company, however, we have discovered that both are defaulting to the same location: receiving. This is fine for the purchase orders, however, the production orders need to go to shop done, but are defaulting to receiving despite not belonging there. Is there a solution to fix this?

Need to automate Appointment "Clone" action - Business event or customization

Hi All. I need to automate the “Clone” process on the Appointments screen.We have added a custom field to the Appointment screen which identifies why an appointment an appointment may not have been successfully completed. When the appointment status is changed to “Completed” and the custom field is set to a specific value, the appointment needs to be cloned and scheduled for the next day.I would have liked to have used a Business Event with either an “Action Execution” or an “Import Scenario”. The problem I have is that the “Clone” action opens a new screen (FS.50.02.01) which requires entering the new scheduled date and executing the “Process” action.As far as I have been able to determine, “Action Executions” and “Import Scenarios” cannot deal with being directed to a second screen after an action directs them there. I am looking for confirmation on of this, or wondering if anyone has found any tricks for dealing with this.If not, looks like I’ll need to do a customization.Thanks

AP301110 Incoming Documents misses invoices in PDF

When processing an Incoming Document PDF that has multiple invoices included in 1 file, the system doesn’t seem to recognize that there are 2 different invoices in the file. Even though it collected the line items from both invoices, it only creates 1 bill and ignores the other customer reference number (invoice number). Is there any workaround to fix this while processing these to break these into separate bills?

Can I autoincrement a Project ID on import scenario

I have a very simple Import scenario where I want to create a list of Projects with only 4 columns of data.ProjectID, ProjectClass, CustomerID, TemplateIDMy import scenario works perfectly; IF I pre-populate the “ProjectID” column in the source spreadsheet with a projectID that increments.Is there a way to have leave that column blank and have the import scenario “automatically auto-increment” the projectID in Acumatica?

Quick Question on PO Auto Numbering

We have some PO’s generating from a 3rd party system. With Autonumbering off I can create a PO with API and use the 3rd party PO num. We also need to create some PO’s manually, but want to use different prefixes. Is there any way to have autonumbering on for 1 prefix but not the other? Is there a better way to solve for this? Service order is requesting another shipment for items which are already shipped from the sales order.

Hello!I’m creating a service order from a sales order. And to create the service order, I select the require appointment check box for the stock item and to the service. The items entered in the sales order will be shipped from the sales order shipment.But when I create the service order, it shows the stock item line status as require scheduling and ask me to do another item issue when completing the service order as well. But the documents say we are only requiring shipping the items which are newly added to the appointment.If there’s any step or information I have missed? Best Regards Amanda

Blanket Sales Orders within GI's and processes

We will be creating Blanket Sales Orders, after being on Acumatica for a while.I noticed that Blanket Sales Orders show up alongside the child sales orders on the SOOrder and SOLine DACs, which causes lines to duplicate in GI’s using these tables (For each child sales order line, a blanket order shows).My current plan is to filter each GI (we have hundreds affected) where the order type’s SOOrderType.Behavior = “Blanket order” as a future proof if the order type id or additional blanket order types are introduced. (DAC)Is there another route that doesn’t require a change to every GI?Anything else I should be thinking through?

Users saving Common Dashboards with paramater filters pre-filled

We have a few common dashboards for different groups created. We are setting them up as user home pages - however I don’t see a way to save the parameter filters to their specific Branch/project manager. Is that possible instead of having to select it everytime?

Production Receipt Cost Incorrect when Backflushed Lot/Serial Tracked Subcontract Materials exist

We encountered a glitch when receiving partial quantities:Production Order Qty 10 with Qty 10 Subcontract Material Purchase Order for Subcontract Matl Qty 10Purchase Receipt for Subcontract Matl Qty 5 (Subcontract Matl is Lot/Serial tracked to preserve costing from a specific vendor to form the PN) Move on Production Order Qty 5 (consumes backflushed Subcontract Matl Qty 5) Production Receipt only capitalizes 1/2 of the Subcontract Matl cost into the finished good. WIP balance is correct, though.What do we have set up incorrectly? Or is this a bug?
