Please provide feedback on the Modern UI if you have issues with it so that Acumatica can focus on improvements to it.  Acumatica AI will pick up your feedback for them to focus on improving it prior to the 26R2 release when the classic UI goes away.

I’m experimenting with getting Acumatica running under Ubuntu Linux using Mono on my portable Linux server. I have ASP.NET working with Apache and the few test .aspx and .cs programs working. I’m currently working my way through the web.config file translating Windows paths to Linux paths. I noticed that Node.js-win is installed under WIndows. My understanding this is used for the Modern UI which isn’t a focus for me right now. Is there any additional Node.js packages used by Acumatica beside the base install that Acumatica checks for even if I don’t have the Modern UI enabled?I’m hoping the Acumatica developer team that may be lurking here on the forum can respond to my above questions.My NpmCache doesn’t show any files for the tenant I’m converting nor can NPM be found or used from PowerShell. My assumption at this point installing Node.js v22.19.0 is all that is needed.

Just need to clarify - does the ecommerce connector support syncing a stock item attribute to a product variant metafield in Shopify? Or does it only support syncing to a product metafield?

I tried to change the database connection that was pointing to my Orange Pi Zero portable Linux server to my AWS MySQL Linux DB. It wanted to create the DB rather than just connecting to it. Is this normal or is there another method beyond the Acumatica ERP Configuration utility?

Are references pointing to wrong path? What is the fix? 

In continuation with the below article, the current article explains how the same can be done in 23R1 and the difference between 22R2 and 23R1. Like in 22R2, in 23R1 there are out of box import scenarios for Template Item(Import Template Items), Matrix Item (Import Matrix Items). Are you using Project Budget Forecasting (PM209600) or Cost Projections (PM305000)? If yes, are you getting the desired results? Do you wish you could do more?  If no, why not? Do you need additional functionality for your specific workflows? Could you use a short training session to get you started? 

Does anyone know of a way to handle the new CO Retail Delivery Fee ($.27 beginning July 1, 2022) either with Avatax or without? Avalara had sent out communications regarding this which stated to perform the following: Merchants subject to this fee will need to add a $0 line item to their orders with the OF400000 tax code. I’m unsure as to how this would be done in Acumatica. Perhaps someone from Acumatica may know if there will be something released in a new build perhaps? 

I have tried different methods for this case. I could change the lookup using an attribute, but for manual entry and for the Prev/Next/Last buttons, it doesn’t work. When I write e.NewValue = null or e.Cancel, or throw some exception in FieldUpdating/FieldVerifying, in some cases it returns an error, but the record still gets displayed. I tried using a Current Document delegate to change and add restrictions and also wrote a restriction attribute, but these options didn’t work either.

I’ve been hearing that Acumatica cares more and more lately about ERP Transactions (vs. Commercial Transactions) so it’s super important that companies keep an eye on how many ERP Transactions they have each month and that they aren’t going over the number of ERP Transactions that they are licensed for or they will start having to pay more for Acumatica. I’m ok with ERP Transactions, they make sense to me, but I noticed a scenario where what I consider to be 1 transaction actually counts as 2 ERP Transactions. Can someone from Acumatica (maybe @Aliya) explain why this is happening? You can see the scenario shown in my demo environment (no customizations) in this 4 minute video segment: 

We are in the middle of implementation and I am writing a workflow for issuing Purchase Orders to Outside Process vendors for metal finishing (Ie: Powdercoating, Plating, etc),  however I am not certain that I am totally clear on the correct process. We have setup non-stock items to represent the outside processes.  These have been defined as a service, They have vendor(s) associated with them on the vendors tab and the default price as been set to $1.00.   On the manufactured (stock) item I have defined a BOM and on the operation step for the outside service I have added the Non-Stock item (Powdercoat) to the BOM as a material.  The qty required has been set to the per-piece cost that I was quoted,  the Unit cost remains at $1.00, The material type has been set to “Sub Contract” and the Subcontract Source has been set to “Purchase”.  On the Outside processes tab I have also checked the “Outside Process” box and have selected the preferred vendor for this operation.  I have then opened

Hello there,We can add side panels to Entry screens now, and that’s awesome!  However, I can’t figure out a way to add a side panel, that would be filtered according to the selection on the SO Line.  I have created a couple GIs, added them onto a Dashboard that uses InventoryCD as a parameter.  Now, I would like to be able to add this Dashboard as a side panel to Sales Orders screen, and filter data based on what line item is selected on the sales order.Any ideas?  Thank you!

Hello,     Our vendor is requiring us send files which are exported from Acumatica to them by SFTP in daily basis.       Yes, this can be done manually, I can export the file to my local computer and then I use a SFTP client to send the file.       However, I am wondering can this be done in an automation way?      Thanks in advance.
