Hello, I am wondering if Acumatica’s add-in for Outlook will work on the Office 365 web base. Has anyone been able to install Acumatica’s add-in on Office 365 Web?

Where do the accounts and sub accounts that you can assign under Departments screen [EP201500] come into play.  I can not find where you can override expenses with these accounts or where they even come into play.  Thank you  

Is there an easy way to disable the RELEASE button in Inventory Adjustments for a specific user? If not, how do you set a role for this? I have this role shared with many users, so I’m hoping not to make a duplicate role with this single field disabled in it if possible.

How can I modify the User Report or Create a GI to include Active Directory Roles by User? Currently only Roles for Native Users show up or Overridden Roles for Active Directory Users.

Hello! Looking for assistance on how best to create an email notification when a client opens a case through the self-service portal. I’ve tried a business event and an automation notification but can’t seem to get the email to send for portal created cases. Ideally, the email that gets generated has the client who submitted the case in the to email and then an internal email cced so we are notified when a client opens a case through the portal. Currently, we have no way of knowing when a client created case is created besides looking at our list of open cases.I have a business event notification set up currently to send the email when a case is created, but it seems to be excluding any cases created through the portal.Thanks!

Can approval processes be created for Opening a new Vendor or new Customer account?

Hello Community,We have configured the Approval Maps for the Bills and Adjustments screen and it is working fine. However, the Approver is currently able to see other documents as well. How can we configure it so that the Approver only sees the documents that require their approval? Any help highly appreciated!!

My outlook add-in logs in successfully but then I just see the spinning Microsoft hourglass and no menu items load.What am I missing here?Thanks in advance 

We are looking to have the vendor ID auto populate with a strictly sequential numerical code.  Is this possible?  Would not need and letters in the ID, strictly numerical classification as we create a new vendor.  We are just now setting up the system and have not gone live yet.  Currently, we have been unable to make this happen.

We are using the Shipengine integration for shipping in Acumatica. For label printers the website teaches you to create a batch file on a windows using the below code. Does anyone know the translation of this code if we were using a MAC instead of a windows?   

hi, Can anyone guide me how can i create sand box environment using my company portal? I want to test few things on my xx.acumatica.com but I want to test it in local sandbox with that data. Please guide me how can  i do that?

Is anyone aware of a way to specify Favorites as the Home Page on a user profile (SM203010)?  Since the Favorites functionality behaves like a pop-up and not a full-fledged screen there doesn’t seem to be a way to select it.  Any ideas?Thanks!Laura

Is there a place on the community or portal where I can obtain a snapshot of the Sales Demo for a specific 22R2 build ?  In understand the sale demo instance is part of each install.  Are the snapshots available as a separate file without installing the build?

My company previously had Acumatica PCP license, and we had to change to PCS because acumatica stopped selling the perpetual license. Now, our acumatica country agent is insisting that we move to AWS because PCS cannot be hosted on local server. I found multiple online sources saying that both PCS and PCP licenses can be deployed anywhere, on-premises or in a private data center, depending on your preference. But I still wanted to confirm it Can we install acumatica PCS on our local server?

I am unable to select the tenant with Edge and Firefox.At the login screen there is a tenant preselected that cannot be edited but deleted. If I enter my credentials without a tenant in Chrome, a second dialog appears to select the tenant.But with Firefox or Edge this second dialog is skipped. How can I change the mentant then? My instance is vesion 2021 R1 Build 8.013.0000.40 [21.113.0011]

Since currently it is only a relationship 1 to 1 when assigning a Contact to a Business Account, is there a way to allow a contact to have access to the parent and all children accounts' information  from the portal?In other words. I have Parent Business Account ID (PBA) assigned to a Contact (C) and PBA has multiple children (MC) associated to it.Can then C, have access to PBA and all MC's information on the portal by Business Account?  Thanks

Hi I am trying to configure the Path, Login and password for the Synchronization Type of Shared Folder and no matter what i try it gives me an invalid URL or a 1326 error. Can anyone help with the syntax of the Path/Login please. Does this only work if Acumatica is installed locally?

Hello Admins!Just sharing my recent experience:Upgrade from 20.115.0039 to 21.100.0127 failed with the following error message:Upgrade process has been interrupted. The database cannot be upgraded because your current build 20.115.0039 is incompatible with the build 21.100.0127. Wait for the next update package that will be compatible with your current build. Note: Release Notes indicate that migrating from 2020R1 is direct.I was glad to find out that  upgrading instance in build 20.206.0011 to  21.100.0127  was successful (including Portal).

Hi all,I have a local instance set up for training (Build 24.112.0026), and I am seeing the following message on the Transactions and Profiles tab after performing a Universal Search:The search by a phrase or a list of keywords might not work because the Full-Text Search feature is not enabled. Contact an administrative user to enable the feature.I have run ‘Process All’ on the ‘Rebuild Full-Text Entity Index’ screen, and I have also tried the ‘Restart Full-Text Search’ option, but I am still seeing the warning.Anyone seen this before or know how to deal with it?

The client would like to set the “Reply Address” to default to the email address of the user that created the document being sent. So if the account is “purchasing@email.com” and the receiver replies to the sent email, the reply would go to “person@email.com” who had created the purchase order that was sent. If there was an additional field on the Email Template form for it would be easy: Unfortunately that doesn’t exist, so I went to the System Email Accounts form, but the “Reply Address” field will only allow a valid email address. I haven’t found any info on coding that field so not sure if it’s even possible.
