Configuration and Installation

I am currently configuring an Email Account with Office 365 OAuth.I also configure an Api on Azure, create an External application to authenticate the email account.When I Sign in there is no problem, but when I run the Test this is the error that keeps showing.IMAP and POP are also enabledAPI Permisssion is selected  What else can be? 

What are the best practices for when Employees/Users leave your company?How long should you keep salespersons in the system as inactive and can you eventually delete them?Should you set a user to disabled rather than deleting them?If you delete either a salesperson or a user, does this cause issues in data they might be tied to?

This is my least preferred method of communicating but Acumatica’s support team has time and time again shown that they will listen to our valid concerns and then take absolutely no action. We are in year 3 of a nightmare implementation. Our reseller completely botched discovery and sold us an initial product that did not meet our needs. We have since added modules and customized and are now stuck in July with no financials for calendar year 2022. Our reseller has failed and despite recent positive efforts from a new analyst we seem to be nowhere closer….We don’t even have a functioning CRM module, nor do our executives have dashboards and KPI reports. The most communication we get from Acumatica is about paying for the license. We estimate to have lost 100k+ in unbillable work orders due to a poor migration and lack of transparent processes. Does anyone have a line to someone that cares? Hello,  I was hoping to get some help setting up a UPS shipping label to print from Acumatica. Does anyone know the requirements to setup the UPS shipping label so it prints after the Shipment has been confirmed on a Sales Order? We are using native Acumatica UPS integration. Thanks, Eric

Hi,Faced a teething problem.  Uploaded client’s site logo and report logo in the Visual Appearance tab in Companies screen (CS101500).  What appears on screen, is the Acumatica’s default logo.   Cleared cache many times, log out and refresh website and site logo remains the same.Checked in the File Maintenance screen (SM202510) and access right is public.Where could we have gone wrong?

I need to load Sales Demo for 2021 R2 version on SaaS instance, I checked the old portal and no links and neither any topic in new portal/community to get a link to download a snapshot for Sales Demo 2021 R2 (which contains all Mfg data etc). Would appreciate if anybody can share the link. 

Does anyone know if its possible to login to Acumatica API using SSO/Active directory login?Per my research it doesn't look like its possible, only though user name and passwords logins. 

On 2020R1, when I login on the mobile app it is not registering new devices. I have several that have been registered previously but I can’t get any to register anymore. Is there a way to register manually or do I have to submit a support ticket?

I have granted access to all roles for the Help screen (under the “Hidden”) workspace: But my users can’t see the help file.  When they press on help, they get this: Followed by a blank screen: Where else can I set these permissions so that it will work?

Hi All, One of our clients has a requirement to have Prefixes to choose from or to type in that have independent Autonumbering Sequences behind it.I know we can handle part of it through Segmented Keys and Values, yet the Autonumbering is Global. What we would need to have is the following:AAA0001AAA0002BBB0001CCC0001AAA0003CCC0002 I hope this makes sense.Are there any solutions in native Acumatica or some recommendations on how to customize this?

This is our first private cloud installation and though everything is accessible locally (the install was done on a virtual app server with a connection to a virtual db server), I am unsure of next steps to be able to access acumatica externally via chrome. What would the client or we need to provide/set up in order for the site to be accessible like this?I’m assuming they would need to provide certs for https, purchase a public IP address to bind the site to, and we would just need to configure the site under IIS with that information and the hostname (something like acumatica.customerdomain.com). But I’m unsure about all that and whether there needs to be something needed to be done with the domain. Can someone break this down for me? I don’t have too much experience with this sort of implementation. Thanks in advance!

Hello,Looking to initiate approval maps for AP and PO’s under certain conditions.Documentation indicates that a notification will be sent, but I don’t see how I link the notification template to the approval rule?   Do I set up a notification template like this then Acumatica sends an email every time any document is created that needs approval? 

I’d like to setup Multi-factor authentication for all users in our tenant. I see options for sending an email or SMS but I would prefer using an authenticator app such as Microsoft Authenticator. Is this possible and I’m just not finding how to set this up?

We are trying go paperless with Pick List for our warehouse; Does anyone know how to make the Item’s barcode and the bin location’s number to display on the Pick List as a barcode?  Like the pic below, thanks...

Where do the accounts and sub accounts that you can assign under Departments screen [EP201500] come into play.  I can not find where you can override expenses with these accounts or where they even come into play.  Thank you  

Is there an easy way to disable the RELEASE button in Inventory Adjustments for a specific user? If not, how do you set a role for this? I have this role shared with many users, so I’m hoping not to make a duplicate role with this single field disabled in it if possible.

While working through System Email Accounts, the processing of the associated emails, toying with the idea of implementing Incoming Mail Processing, I’ve come to find that, no matter the enabled or disabled features, Acumatica is keeping a copy of each account’s emails, as seen in the defined Root folder, in their entirety. Is it normal normal for the system to keep a copy of every email of each System Email Account even when it does not get linked to a Contact? Note that Incoming Mail Processing is off for all accounts. Assuming I haven’t done anything wrong, this presents a few concerns… record counts, db space usage, and security, to name a few. Anyone have any insights and or suggestions? Thanks a bundle for your support ;-)
