Excited to have signed up with Acumatica at the end of last year and now be embarking on our transformation journey, with planned Go Live later this year and early next for our two key divisions. I work for Tower Supplies, a global distributor of workwear, uniform, PPE and janitorial products and related services, based in the UK.I’m keen to connect with other users, especially those based in the UK, if someone can point me to a UK specific area, if there is one, and we also have some open vacancies in our project team if someone can point me to a job board, if there is one.Looking forward to the support across the community as I’ve heard good things!Thanks all.

 Hi Everyone!  I love this! Getting to know everyone is fun!I am from Central Pa. I spent almost 9 years in the US Navy. I have a supply and ERP background from that. I am married with 4 kids total and my English Bulldog! I recently purchased a Jeep Wrangler and I love making mods on it. I also got to be in Redbook magazine with Michelle Obama, former First Lady!    

Hello all! We just signed papers with Acumatica last month and hope to start our implementation in the next week or so. We have two companies, Spartan Mat & Spartan Composites, that operate in the matting industry. Spartan Mat is more or less a wholesaler while Spartan Composites is a manufacturer. We’re looking forward to Acumatica because we currently operate in QuickBooks which is not adequate for manufacturing. I’ve helped implement an ERP at my last job and know how much better things can be with a legitimate ERP system. I attended Summit this week which was great… even though we’re not in Acumatica yet it was nice to see some of the features and projects being worked on in order to familiarize myself and meet with peers.Hoping 2024 is going well for everyone so far!

Hello community. Very new to Acumatica. Kickoff for us is next week but wanted to get on to the Community as soon as I was given access.Was a long time Distribution user of Infor Sx Enterprise (formerly Trend for those familiar and old-as-dirt like me) and was very active in their intendent user community.I now work for US Generator a new Contracting company that is all about selling, installing and servicing Generators of all shapes and sizes…. residential, commercial, industrial.Glad to be part of the Acumatica community and excited to get started with our implementation.

Hi everyone, here is a little bit about me.I live in Montreal, Quebec Canada and I speak and write both French and English.  I recently joined Acumatica in October 2021 as ERP Product Manager - Product Success.  I work from my home office with my co-worker Bianca, a blue-point siamese cat. I really enjoy reading your questions and product ideas on community - this is such a vibrant and creative community percolating with ideas!  I like to hang out on community and will often reach out to community members and ask to meet to do a deeper dive on their post or to gather feedback on ideas that we are researching and targeting for development.

Greetings from Calgary, AB, Canada.My name is Benny and I was born and raised in Calgary where I have been working in the Energy industry for over 10 years as a ERP Business Analyst/Project Coordinator on various implementations in SAP S/4. My area of focus has been on the Procurement, Warehousing/Inventory, Sourcing and Contracting, Supplier Enablement integrations; and have been thoroughly enjoying the Acumatica experience in Distribution. Looking forward to learn more and participate in this community.

Our company just signed on as a service partner on Friday.  In fact, we are so new that our business account is not set up yet.  So, I need to ask this question in this forum until we can access the partner area.We are going to our make first hires for the development and IT operations team.  They will get certified in Acumatica and learn xRP.  We are going to look for someone with .NET experience.  But beyond that, does anyone have any recommendations for other good qualifications?  What core skills should a good Acumatica developer or IT support manager have?Thanks for the help.

Hello,We are not even live yet on Acumatica, but plan to go live January 1, 2024!  So we are in the midst of implementation and education.  As a result, I felt joining the community would be worthwhile to be able to ask questions and learn some real life experiences from all of you!

Hello from Lancaster County, PA! We are working at implementing Acumatica and hope to go live in a little over a month. I am the IT Consultant here and have been working hard at learning the system and then training the different departments in our company so we can all be ready for the transition.
